The Narrative of History….

AUDIO SLIDE SHOW: Let the project load for a couple of seconds and then press the play button on the left side.

November 4, 2008, marked an historic day in world and U.S. history. As a photojournalist, I was curious to see what photographs global newspapers and magazines would publish on their front pages to mark the occasion. You’ll witness the similarities and differences in coverage—from the simplicity of the Chicago Sun-Times to the headline-dominant choices of other publications. Regardless of if you voted for Barack Obama, this project isn’t meant as a promotion of his victory. It is a time capsule of how the media promoted history.

I changed a few things, including the title, color scheme etc and wanted to share again on my new website. Enjoy. Personally, my favorite part is at the 03:59 mark.
